Beyonce Knowles is an American R&B singer who attained fame through the ‘Destiny’s Child’ group along with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Beyonce Knowles is very good at multi tasking, she also writes songs, acts in movies, models and produces albums. In addition to all this she also has time to spend intimate moments with her boyfriend/husband the great rapper Jay-Z and think about a family. They are one of the most famous celebrity couples. They tied the knot at a very private ceremony at Jay-Z’s mansion in 2008 putting an end to the hugely blown up media hype surrounding their relationship since 2002. They are the highest earning couples in the world.
Beyonce shot to fame with Destiny Child’s first album itself, ‘Destiny Child’ in 1998. she was just 19 years old then and with her killer looks and a beautiful talented voice she arrived with a bang. With the subsequent success of Destiny’s Child, Beyonce’s fame shot through the roof. The following albums ‘The Writings on the Wall’ and ‘Survivor’ went breaking records. The song ‘Bootylicious’ became such a hit and the word so popular that it soon entered the Oxford dictionary, credits to Beyonce. Then it was time for a short hiatus and Beyonce decided to use the break to go solo and then she gave us her album ‘Dangerously in Love’, this went on a rampage at the Grammy’s and ended up with five awards. Then the ‘Destiny’s Child’ got together to complete their album ‘Destiny Fulfilled’, sure it did have a lot of pun!! That also was roaring hit. Then Beyonce got back to doing her albums ‘B’day’ and ‘I am… Sasha Fierce’. It’s very well known that Sasha Fierce is the alter ego of Beyonce but she claims that she has grown and matured into a better woman now.
Beyonce is known to have been under a terrible depression during the ‘Destiny Child’s’ days for not finding true love. All the fame at a very young age gave her a feeling that nobody would love her for her true self and was terrible upset till her mom brought her out of the depression. Then Jay-Z did the magic. She is now thinking of taking a break and considering having an addition to her family. She also runs a clothing line partnering with her mom. She also has a brand of perfumes called ‘Heat’. She was voted as one of the hottest most desirable bodies on the planet by VH1. Her jewellery collection is great definately reflects this pop princess’s style but wouldn’t we love to see her with a nomination bracelet on saying diva? I’m sure nomination would love her to be the face of their brand too!
She is also a very good actor having acted in a few movies most notably in ‘The Pink Panther’, ‘The Fighting Temptations’ and ‘Obsessed’. She has been rated as the top earning female music personality of 2009. Beyonce is also a well known philanthropist extending her helping hand in times of natural disasters and to uplift the downtrodden in Africa. She had a huge fund raising concert for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. And then for the victims of the 2004 Tsunami. She is now going to participate in fundraising events for the Haiti earthquake victims.
